The Launch of Concord Theatricals.com!

We have important news about your customer/organization account with The Musical Company (TMC)!

We are migrating all of TMC’s shows in North America over to a state-of-the-art website, ConcordTheatricals.com. This new website will also include the catalogs of R&H Theatricals, Samuel French and Tams-Witmark. If you have accounts on those websites as well, you will now only have to visit one website for your licensing needs.

If you are a TMC customer outside of North America, you don’t need to worry—the TMC site will continue to run as it has done previously for you.

WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO?
Most customers will not need to do anything – we are doing all the moving for you! However, if you’ve purchased a logo from TMC, we suggest you download it from your dashboard now, as the delivery method will be changing.

Active licenses and associated invoicing will be moved over for payment in the ConcordTheatricals.com systems. We will also migrate as much of your historical licensing information as we can, although this won’t include PDF versions of your agreements or invoices. Please download those now if you would like a copy of them.

LOGGING IN TO CONCORDTHEATRICALS.COM:
When the new site goes live, you will need to reset your password in order to access your account. This will ensure that your information remains safe and secure. Protecting your privacy and data is our top priority. If you have also previously licensed a show through R&H Theatricals, Tams or Samuel French, you will only have to do this once.

CHANGES TO PROFESSIONAL/AMATEUR STATUS:
Please note that once the new website is launched, any production using any type of Equity contract will now be considered professional. This change won’t impact you if your production was granted a license through one of the old websites/systems.

CHANGES TO PERUSALS:
After ConcordTheatricals.com goes live, we will no longer be offering hard copy perusals. Instead, perusals will be entirely digital, accessible via your customer dashboard.

Customers who have purchased perusals through MyLines will have uninterrupted access to the perusal until it expires.

CONCERT LICENSING:
Concert licensing will be through Zinfonia. If you have any questions about this, email concert@concordtheatricals.com.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT FROM CONCORDTHEATRICALS.COM?
ConcordTheatricals.com will have all the resources you’ve come to expect from a licensing website. This includes a license estimator tool on show pages to provide a performance royalty fee estimate for your license, without you having to submit a quote or a license request. Many more features will be rolled out over the next year.

Once we are up and running, there will be a prominent “Feedback” button displayed and we would love to hear your thoughts on what we can do better.

Concord Theatricals is very pleased to announce that beginning in 2020, a portion of its commission from every license will be set aside to create a fund for significant annual donations to nonprofit organizations whose emphasis is to support theatre writers and composers, and music and theatre education.

THANK YOU FOR BEING OUR CUSTOMER!
With this move, there will be more expert staffers on hand to assist you every step of the way. In the meantime, if you have any further questions about what these changes will mean to you, email info@themusicalcompany.com or call +1 212 598 2269.

There are a lot of moving parts to this migration, so please bear with us if we are currently taking longer than normal to get back to you regarding licensing requests. We value your business and can’t wait to share our exciting new website with you!

We look forward to helping you make theatre happen in 2020 and beyond!
