The adult roles have been thoughtfully adjusted to better suit younger performers, while still maintaining the integrity and energy of the original score. School of Rock: Young Actors Edition gives your students a chance to develop distinct vocal identities for each character – make sure they consider key character traits when finding their vocal styles. For example, Dewey, with all his eccentricities and enthusiasm, would sing very differently from Summer, who is organised and driven. Encourage vocal stylings that serve the story but always prioritize clarity, diction, and healthy technique.
